Cards fit beautifully in frames for staff incentives
For the new school year, our elementary school theme is "Be the Bridge" with the idea that teachers are the bridge between where students currently are i.e. achievement, independence, stamina and where they need to be. It also fits nicely into the idea of an educational journey and the road to success. As the principal, I led the staff in an interactive read aloud of Pop's Bridge by Eve Bunting to add an literacy connection to the theme. I framed these cards and created snack bags of Bridge Mix (candy), which I placed in plastic champagne glasses and attached a card with a motivational saying regarding "Be the Bridge".....
